Want to discuss how we can help you with your next project?
This desire began whilst completing a BTEC Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at the University for the Creative Arts. After specialising in 3D Design Jo went on to complete a first-class degree in Interior Architecture & Design. Since then Jo has worked with several established interior design practices and makers across the UK.
Jo’s passion for sustainable materials led them to participate in the Architectural Association’s Hooke Park residency programme, where they assisted with the physical creation of timber-framed, organic structures, deep in the Dorset countryside. This experience led them to gain a City & Guilds Diploma in bench joinery, allowing them to further deepen their understanding of traditional woodworking skills. These hands-on practical experiences inspire Jo’s design process and how they work with natural materials in interior design today.
At the weekend Jo enjoys tending to their allotment and walking their dog on the South Downs.
Jo has worked on a number of projects including: British Research Establishment, Planted, My Green Pod, Westfield Healthy Home Pop Up, Design a Healthy Home Book and the Oliver Heath Design School.
